You are there, I am here, alive and well

One must wonder, alive and well?

Bringing love, bringing sadness, experience is bliss

Experiencing hype, experiencing lessons

Finding new ways to feel, new ones to love

I wish you well, I do not wish you death

We are apart, we don’t talk much about it

I smile and move on, I must move on

Life is never stopping, I must rebuild

Finding the people we love, fighting for them

Even when they don’t love back, you fight, you must fight

Blood means everything, but it can also mean nothing

Be thankful for me, I was always thankful for you

Why should I thank you for it? What do I thank myself for?

 

I think of myself and build up what was taken from me

I love, I think, I rebuild, loving everyone I can

In my own ways, in a slain way

The mind can only take so much, you must love

Your body can only hold so much, you must fight

I rebuild, I will always rebuild

I survive, like a roach getting stepped on again

I always come back, I will always be thankful for that

My inner strength, the strength I give myself

To keep fighting, to keep thanking

Good people are around us, very few

As for family, we will always be united

Even from afar and after life has gone by

Time keeps moving, there won’t be another of the same

We make what we do, we love, we cry

I love you all, even when I’m hated, ignored, unloved
